CHASSIS SYSTEM
A design that improves accuracy over factory stocks. Hardened, steel barrel components are directly bedded to the alloy receiver. This metal-to-metal contact is not affected by the elements and delivers precise Sub-MOA accuracy.
- Accuracy Inside - Benelli barrel accuracy is the result of a proprietary three-step manufacturing process found only at Benelli, engineered to control stress, preserve straightness, and lock in precision from start to finish.
- Easy Loading - A Beveled loading port, redesigned carrier, and a two-piece carrier latch have all been incorporated to make loading a magazine effortless. Only the front section of the Easy-Loading System's two-piece carrier latch actually moves during loading, allowing shells to slide up easily with minimal tension or possibility of jamming.
- Lock Plate - At the heart of Benelli’s Steel Locking System is a robust, solid steel breech block that locks directly to the rear of the arrel rather than the receiver. This advanced over/under shotgun design contains all firing pressure within the barrel itself, preventing stress from being transferred to the receiver and hinge pins.
RECOIL REDUCTION
Tame recoil with the patented Progressive Comfort system built into the stock. This system significantly reduces felt-recoil on even the largest calibers and allows the shooter to maintain focus on the target.
- Progressive Comfort - The Progressive Comfort recoil-reduction system is an unobtrusive, lightweight and simple system. It's able to self-adjust for maximum recoil reduction related to the power of the load used because it has three sets of interlocking leaves, or fingers, with different levels of elasticity. This system is out of sight inside a wooden stock to better maintain a traditional look.
PERFECT FIT
Achieve a customized fit out of the box without the need for expensive gun-smithing. Each Lupo rifle includes a shim kit for drop, cast and trigger reach adjustment.
- 12 Available Positions - Combining 4 drop shims with 3 cast positions (neutral, right, left) and 3 combs, Lupo BE.S.T. Wood Adjustable Comb offers the utmost self-made personalization to follow any body configuration.
CRIO SYSTEM
Hammer-forged stresses are relieved and the surface of the bore becomes more evenly- grained when a rifle barrel is cryogenically treated. The result, a more uniform surface that improves accuracy and stays clean longer.
- Why Freeze Barrels? - The Crio® System combines a barrel frozen to -300° F with a cryogenically treated, longer choke tube.
