Designed as an improvement on the original HS507C, the X2 features several new features that set it apart from it's predecessor. The first of these is a Lock Mode, enabling the shooter to put the optic into a state where it cannot experience inadvertent actuation of the control and buttons, giving a new level of confidence when it matters most. The second feature to have been added to the new model is a re-design of the control and button layout, allowing it to more effectively complement the new Lock Mode, as well as protect the buttons from impact.
