The dial and stop position can be quickly reset in a single action using just about any field expedient tool you have in your pocket or range bag. The capped configuration can be converted to an exposed dial, based on the shooter's preferences. The exposed dials can be easily swapped in the field for Bullet Drop Compensating (BDC) dials, custom-engraved to your ballistic information and available from Nightforce’s website.
RETICLE
MOA-C
The MOA-C™ reticle adapts the proven Mil-C reticle to minute of angle, providing first focal plane shooters a clear field of view without sacrificing the ability to hold. The floating center dot provides a refined aiming point and still allows an unobstructed view of the target. Consistent and easily visible numbering is designed for accurate holds and speed. Thick bars outside the main stadia lines help direct the shooter's eye to the center when fast shots are required. This reticle is designed for precision shooting in the field or on the range.
MIL-C F1
The Nightforce MIL-C™ F1 reticle is designed for the long range precision shooter. The MIL-C™ F1 features a floating .05 MRAD center dot for precise aiming and limited target obscuring. The main horizontal stadia lines incorporate .2 MRAD hash marks giving shooters precise hold points for windage, and bold numbers provide easy-to-read reference points. The inverted "T" range estimation tool is offset from the reticle for a clear field of view.
MOA-XT
The Nightforce MOA-XT™ brings modern innovations to MOA shooters who require fast holds and accurate aim points. The floating center dot of the MOA-XT™ provides a fine aiming point for precise shooting. The main horizontal stadia line includes 1 MOA marks with labels every 2 MOA to ensure clear shooting references in hasty or stressful engagements. The grid consists of an array of horizontal dots that are broken up by a bold dot every 4 MOA for fast counting.
MIL-XT
The Nightforce MIL-XT™ is equipped with all the features precision shooters need. The .05 MRAD floating center dot allows for precise aiming at the smallest targets and the marked .2 MRAD hash marks give shooters well-defined windage holds under stressful conditions. Floating dots at each MRAD line along the vertical stadia provide clear aiming points while holding for elevation. Alternating sized numbers allow for easy reading and counting when the clock is running.
